Laser-View Technologies, Inc. is thrilled to announce that our very own employee, Nicholas Lubeck, has won the Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST) Philadelphia Member Chapter Scholarship.
AIST is a non profit organization recognized for its global leadership in networking, education and sustainability programs for advancing iron and steel technology. They have 17,500 members from more than 70 countries.
Not only does Laser-View proudly exhibit at AIST every year but we admire the initiative AIST displays in supporting STEM education. We feel that STEM related activities and academic support are the key to getting students interested in engineering careers early. This will allow student to properly prepare themselves for a successful college path/career in engineering.
Laser-View Technologies supports STEM education through VEX Robotics. Our President, Steven Lubeck, mentors Brandywine Robotics members involved in the VEX Robotics program.
Brandywine Robotics is a non-profit organization that involves almost 200 middle school and high school students in VEX Robotics, mentoring engineering and hands on skills, programming, and personal development through collaborative interactions.
Steven also volunteers to help run and referee VEX Robotics competitions throughout the year. This program provide Middle School and High School students experience in a wide variety of engineering disciplines.
